Abstract: The static yield stress of complex binder paste characterizes its internal microstructure build-up process, which affects the construction and 3D printing process of fresh cementitious materials. The effects of kind and dosage of mineral admixture on the varying regular of the static yield stress of complex binder paste were studied. It is found that the increase of fineness of mineral admixture reduces the thickness of water film on the surface of particles and results in the increase of the static yield stress of complex binder paste. The static yield stress of complex binder paste increases slowly during the initial period after mixing with water, and the paste structure build-up rate is small. The static yield stress of complex binder paste increases quickly after mixing with water about 1.5 h. It means that the linking of paste internal structure is almost non-destroyable, and paste begins setting and transforming to a solid.
