Abstract: To improve the road performance of the recycled asphalt mixture (RAP), aramid fibers and glass fibers were selected in the research, and the influences of the single mixing and compound mixing on the road performance of the recycled asphalt mixture was studied. The research results show that the single mixing aramid fiber has little effect on the high-temperature performance of the recycled asphalt mixture. The high-temperature rutting resistance of recycled asphalt mixture is increased by 34.0% and 42.6% by glass fibers and composite fibers, respectively. The improvement of dynamic modulus of recycled asphalt mixture by adding composite fibers is up to 21.9%. The addition of composite fibers makes the mixture maintain good low-temperature crack resistance and water stability. The semi-circular bending (SCB) test results show that the composite fibers can significantly improve the bending ability of asphalt mixing materials.Compared with single fiber, the composite fiber has better modification effect on recycled asphalt mixture, and the modification effect is significant.
