Abstract: Pharmaceutically medium borosilicate glass were prepared by using melt cooling method,which replaced aluminum oxide with equal quantity of zirconium oxide.The structure of glass was analyzed by infrared spectroscopy.The density,coefficient of thermal expansion,high-temperature viscosity and chemical stability were also tested.The experiment results shows that with the content of zirconium oxide increasing,the quantities of [BO3] increase,the numbers of [BO4] decrease.And the density gradually increases.The coefficient of thermal expansion and high-temperature viscosity both increase firstly and then reduce.When the zirconium oxide added,it has little effect on water and acid resistance,but the alkali-resistance improves significantly.
