Abstract: With good performance and wide application of magnesium phosphate cement,the preparation from phosphate, magnesium oxide and admixture were reviewed.And the hydration mechanism from hydration process, hydration products and retarding mechanism were discussed.Then the research progress of work and mechanical properties of magnesium phosphate cement were summarized.Magnesium phosphate cement was summarized on the problems existing in the application process, and on the basis of magnesium phosphate cement for the future development trend were discussed.
