Preparation of Cordycep-like Shape Barium Carbonate Microrods with Ultrasonic-assisted Heating

摘要: 利用氯化钡和碳酸钠为原料,通过在溶剂中加入适量聚乙二醇(PEG)作为添加剂,运用超声辅助加热快速合成出了虫草状碳酸钡微米棒.利用扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、傅立叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)、X-射线衍射(XRD)和热重分析(TGA)等系列技术对产物进行了表征.结果显示,产物为正交相BaCO3,呈现虫草棒状结构,直径约为0.5μm,长度在2.2~5μm之间,粒度均匀,颗粒之间有明显的边界.

Abstract: Cordycep-like shape barium carbonate microrods have been synthesized rapidly via an ultrasonic-assistant heating process by using barium chloride and carbonate as the raw materials , and adding polyethylene glycol ( PEG) as the additive.The obtained materials were characterized by Scanning electron microscopy ( SEM ), Fourier transform infrared spectrometer ( FT-IR ), X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and Thermogravimetry Analyzer (TGA).The results indicate that the as-prepared sample was orthorhombic BaCO 3 , SEM images show that the sample possessed cordyceps -likes microrods structure, the diameters are about 0.5 μm, the lengths range from 2.2 to 5 μm with uniform cordycep-like shape, the boundaries among the particles are clear .
