Effects of Infrared Opacifiers on Properties of Silicate Thermal Insulating Coatings

摘要: 分别选取六钛酸钾晶须(PTW),金红石型二氧化钛(TiO2)和钛溶胶作为红外遮光剂,以九水合硅酸钠为粘结剂,添加SiO2气凝胶等隔热填料,用机械搅拌的方法制备出硅酸盐隔热保温涂料.研究了红外遮光剂对涂料红外透过率,消光系数和导热系数的影响.结果表明:三种红外遮光剂中,钛溶胶分散性最好,掺杂钛溶胶的涂料红外透过率最低,消光系数最大,导热系数最低,可降低至0.032 W·m-1·K-1.

Abstract: The silicate thermal insulating coatings were prepared by means of high speed mechanical agitation when the sodium silicate was used as the binder of the coatings and silica aerogel was added as one of thermal insulating aggregetes in the respective presence of K2Ti6O13 whisker(PTW), rutile titanium dioxide(TiO2) and TiO2 sol as infrared opacifiers.The effects of infrared opacifiers on the infrared transmittance, extinction coefficient and thermal conductivity of the coatings were studied.The results show that TiO2 sol has the best dispersing performance among the three kinds of infrared opacifiers.The coating added with TiO2 sol has the lowest infrared transmittance, the biggest extinction coefficient and the lowest thermal conductivity low to 0.032 W·m-1·K-1.
