Abstract: The essential content and development tendency of ecologicalbuilding materials about cement,concrete,building and sanitary ceramics,building glass,new style building materials were analysed.The important effect and meaning of ecological building materials on the sustainable development strategy were discussed.Building materials are the one of the largest output,most wide use,and heaviest burden on resource and environment.But building materials have large potential extent for saving,which can consume large amount of wastes,and make them into rebirth resource.The serious resource and environment problems of traditional building materials must be resolved.The development of ecological building materials are the important channel for carrying out of sustainable development strategy.
