Research Progress on Synthesis and Application of ZeoliteBased on Coal Fly Ash

Abstract: Coal fly ash is a solid waste produced by coal-fired power plants.Its main components contain a large proportion of SiO2 and Al2O3,and it is an ideal raw material for the synthesis of zeolite.With the deepening of research,the synthesis method of zeolite by coal fly ash has been gradually mature.From the initial one-step hydrothermal method to the present composite hydrothermal method,from raw coal fly ash as raw material to the pre-treated coal fly ash as raw material,the synthesis process of zeolite by coal fly ash has been progressing.The research progress in pretreatment of coal fly ash,synthesis method of zeolite and application field of the product are reviewed.And the overall development of zeolite based on coal fly ash is expected.
