Abstract: Glass structures with different components of ZnO-B_2O_3-SiO_2 were investigated by using the Fourier transform infrared spectra. The relationship between the glass structure and components was also analyzed. The results show that when concentration of ZnO is greater than 30%, Zn2+ entered into B-O-Si net, Zn-O-B bond and Zn-O-Si bond are formed and when concentration is greater than 40%, [ZnO_4] units are formed. Otherwise, [BO_3] units are changed into [BO_4] units with the increasing of ZnO content. The growing of SiO_2/ B_2O_3 ratio also introduces the increment of Zn-O-B bonds, Zn-O-Si bonds and [ZnO_4] unitses. At the minetime, [BO_3] unitses also turn to[ BO_4]unitses, and they tend to form boron oxygen polymer groups.
