Abstract: Tempered glass belongs to safety glass.Tempered glass is a kind of prestressing force glass actually,to enhance the strength of the glass,use the method of chemistry or physics normally,form in vitreous surface press stress,glass bears offset above all when outside force surface layer stress,so as to improve the bearing capacity,Enhanced glass itself against wind pressure,cold and heat shock and impact resistance,etc.So the degree of the surface stress of toughened glass is characterization of toughened glass,tempered glass is an important indicator of quality.So whether the surface stress is measured accurately,and the uncertainty of measurement for the scientific evaluation is the key to the evaluation of toughened glass quality.The Surface stress of one kind of tempered glass was measured according to GB-T18144-2000.The uncertainty of the result was analyzed and evaluated according to JJF 1059.1-2012.As a result,the method of uncertainty evaluation provide reference for other similar cases.
